SafeAlone connects to a Mi Band 2 and receives data from it. It is built around the concept of Patient - Guardian. This app has two phases. First one is for a Patient and the second one is a Guardian. When the patient, who is wearing the Mi Band 2, has an abnormally low or high heart rate which may be signs of unconsciousness, SafeAlone will send a notification to the Guardian’s phone to inform them of a possible emergency. The Guardian can then open the notification to view the patient’s heart rate and call him/her if needed.
